The Employability and Career Development Center (ECDC) at Suez Canal University (SCU) proudly announces the Second Annual Employment Fair at Suez Canal University, Tuesday, March 15, 2016. Under leadership of President Professor Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, and Professor Dr. Nahed Mohammed Mostafa, Vice president of Graduate Study and Research. We cordially invite employers across all fields to participate in the event and share their career opportunities with top SCU students and graduates.

In March 2015, the first Employment Fair at SCU was organized by the Employability and Career Development Center, under the patronage of President Professor. Mamdouh Ghorab, Dr. Kamal Sharobim Vice President of Community Service and Environmental Development. The event was attended by University vice presidents, Ismailia Governor, General. Yaseen Taher and 1500 students and graduates. 200 vacancies were announced by participating companies in the fields of pharmaceuticals, banking, cement, FMCG and Automotive, including Principal Sponsor: Etisalat Misr, and Gold Sponsors: CIB and Saint-Gobain Egypt.

 

The ECDC was founded in 2012 with funding from the United States Agency for International Development and technical support of The American University in Cairo. SCU ECDC offers year-long, career guidance services to students and alumni, including Career Development Workshops, Employability Skills Training and English Courses. In addition, individual advising on resume writing and interviewing skills are provided to help students and graduates gain an advantage in today’s competitive labour market. Recruitment services are also available to students and alumni throughout the year, including: Job vacancy announcement, summer internships, and corporate information sessions, providing support to students and graduates in their career search efforts.
