Prof. Dr. Tarek Rashed Rahmi, Suez Canal University President, stressed the importance of programs, training courses and workshops, and their role in supporting and developing the educational process at the university, stressing that investment in the human element is the most important goals of the development plan at the university.
On Monday, 2 nd September, Higher Education Development Center organized a workshop on learning management system (moodle), lectured by Engineer Ali Al-Qadi. It targets faculty members at the faculties of science, agriculture and veterinary medicine.
Dr. Mohamed Ghoneim, Director of Higher Education Development Center explained that the course aims to create an interactive learning environment to control the management of academic content, and follow-up and evaluation of learning outcomes, stressed that there are many different systems for the management of e-learning such as black board and Moodle; Dr. Mohammed Ghoneim said that Moodle contributes to effective communication between the faculty member and the student, and between the students each other; through discussion rooms and scientific forums, and the student can save the scientific material submitted by the teacher. The workshop was held under the supervision of Dr. Ibtisam Abdul Qader, Director of e-Development Project.
